Created in 2004, the GRI has for
mission to promote the cooperation between the Instituto Superior
Miguel Torga and international academic
institutions. To fulfill this finality we define the following
purposes:
Purposes of GRI:
1. To perfect the
processes of appliance to international programs of
scientific-technical cooperation;
2. To ensure the
continuity of activities of cooperation in the ambit of university
inter-change;
3. To create a dynamics
of institutional involvement in the initiatives of international
cooperation, in the ambit of integrated projects and trans-European
and / or trans-continental thematic nets;
Strategy:
- To create conditions
for the students of different courses, primary beneficent of several
of the initiatives of university inter-change, to have access to the
advantages that come from the work developed (training posts,
courses, or other activities of educational character);
- To create a dialogue
dynamics between the “international relations cabinet” and the
several structures and academic organs of the ISMT, giving a
particular attention to the concession of the support needed for the
logistic of international investigation projects;
- To produce materials
of information / divulgation in relation to current activities and to
present the relevant documentation (reports, scientific articles,
books, thematic brochures) which results from the activities of
cooperation already concluded;
